This takes place on the Umzimkulu river, just outside Port Shepstone (only 1 ½ hrs from Durban) on the KZN south coast.

The Umzimkulu River has mainly grade 1 and grade 2 rapids, but also boasts a couple of Grade 3 rapids, which step-up to Grade 4 if there's been sufficient rain. The section is regarded as one of the biggest traversable Whitewater south of the Zambezi.

Introduction

This is the River Rafting trip that we do for individuals, groups (like birthday parties or Bachelor parties) & Corporates.

Rafting will be in an inflatable 2-man canoe, so you will we in control of your own boat.  Be prepared for a bit of work-out as you will be paddling your own boats….

At all times the trip and paddlers will adopt a safety first, safety always and NO compromise mindset, with a when in doubt, get out rule and NO alcohol on river.

This adventure is fine for complete novices who have NEVER even paddled before.

We can basically take trips on any day – weekdays or weekends, as long as there is sufficient water in the river, and we have at least 4 people for that trip.
